Twist the angst up between Derek and Karen in more scenes; have julia and Frank get a divorce-eo wants to live with his Dad; Michael comes back to the show as Dimaggio; Dev sleeps with Rj and goes to DC, Have Tom get a rude awakening with his own issues….Ellis gets fired and Sam, gets hired; Jerry wants Eileen back….Ivy gets Marilyn….but loses Derek.

Get better writers so the characters can be likable.

Have an improved writing team for next season, and try replacing Katharine with someone who can deliver lines with emotion.

Don’t fire Karen/McPhee. Stop listening to those Broadway types and write for those of us who don’t care about the insiders stuff. Both actresses vying for Marilyn and their different lives are wonderful to watch. Take out McPhee and you alienate those of us who won’t watch a show about Broadway insiders.
